  • ABOUT THE BRAND
  • Helps prevent dietary iron deficiency
  • Supports energy levels
  • Aids healthy red blood cell production
  • Helps maintain haemoglobin formation
  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
  • Aids healthy red blood cell production
Contains iron glycinate, an organic form of iron which is more readily absorbed than some other forms of iron (such as iron sulfate) plus vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12 and folic acid
Iron is an essential mineral in the formation of haemoglobin in red blood cells, which transports oxygen to the body for the production of cellular energy from food. It is also essential in the formation of myoglobin, which releases oxygen during intense muscle activity. Vitamin C enhances the absorption of Iron, while B1, B2, B6, B12 and Folic Acid serve as cofactors in enzyme systems involved in red blood cell production.
Women have a greater need for iron than men, and according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, up to 40% of women and teenage girls aged 14-50 years are not consuming enough iron.1 Other people who may need more iron than others include vegetarians and menstruating women in the days following their period.
Established in Byron Bay in 1999, Fusion Health is Australia’s leading provider of traditional herbal medicines, available online and from health food stores around the country. We’re driven by deep respect for the time-proven practices and philosophies that underpin traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), as well as Ayurvedic medicine, Western herbal medicine and naturopathy.
